The video-pictures are captured with CCTV-cameras and are immediately converted to Real-Time-Streaming-Protocol (RTSP) by small streaming-webservers from Convision, which are distributed by Infinigate.

Then, Lucent RoRs from Delta Network and Avaya are used to transmit the data from the webservers via wireless-LAN to the broadcasting station. The wireless-LAN covers the whole Oktoberfest area, the St. Pauls church as well as the broadcasting station at the "CleanEnergy" exhibition.

From the broadcasting station, all data is transmitted via DSL-cables of Atlantic Telecom (first:telecom) to a Multicast-Sever  There, the video streams are digitally revised. With technology from NetworkAppliance, each single video stream is splitted into a number of streams.
